Ask for help

We want people with disabilities to be able to find mortgage information and contact ShopMortgages.ca. If a page, form, document or linked application presents a barrier, call (519) 250-4848, use our Contact Us form, or contact our office at 3385 Dougall Ave., #200, Windsor, ON N9E 1S8. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to ask for assistance.

Tell us what you were trying to do, the page or document involved, the barrier and your preferred way for the team to respond. Browser or assistive-technology details are optional. Share only what is needed to explain the problem.

Individual requests and alternatives

The team handles accessibility requests individually through website, phone and office inquiries. Ask about another format, communication support or help with an application step. We will discuss a practical approach with you rather than requiring you to use a form that is causing difficulty.

Ongoing website improvements

We use Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a guide for improvements, including readable text, keyboard access, visible focus, labelled forms, clear errors and layouts that work with enlarged text. This is an improvement target, not a claim that every page or interaction fully conforms.

Older articles, videos, documents and independently operated applications may have barriers. Please report them so the team can review the issue and discuss an alternative. This statement will be updated as the website and available support change. Our Privacy Policy explains how request information is handled.
